GSIL, specialized in smart safety, is actively entering the smart safety market in the Middle East.
GSIL announced on the April 10th that it has signed an agreement with Kuwait's FPSEC, Flame Petroleum Services and Equipment Company. for joint commercialization of the smart safety system 4S (Smart Site Safety Solution).
FPSEC is a full-service provider of professional services related to the development of Kuwait's oil and gas industry. For the successful execution of the projects, GSIL provides orders, contracts, and maintenance. We have numerous certificates from the government and related organizations, as well.
With this joint commercialization agreement, two companies will work together to support and commercialize the FPSEC oil and gas processing facility project located in Kuwait.
The 4S system is a solution suitable for oil and gas plant projects in the Middle East and is characterized by being centered on the project control room PCC (Project Control Center). Through the PCC, the manager controls all processes from worker entry to start-up management, identification of risk factors, and react to any activities. For high-risk work such as working at confined or high-altitude, it is possible to provide solutions that connect various hardware equipment and platforms.
Fotouh Hamada, CEO of FPSEC, said, “We are very pleased with the business agreement with GSIL, a Korean company, and we will actively participate together for the successful settlement of Security and Smart Safety systems in Kuwait.”
GSIL CEO Lee Jeong-woo said, “This business agreement marked the start of exporting the first Korea’s smart safety technology to Kuwait. We are also looking forward to acting as an agent to participate in bidding for the Kuwait MEW (Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy) project in the future.”
Meanwhile, GSIL recently signed a contract with Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) for smart safety management system development and with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) for the 2nd stage smart safety design contract. In addition, the smart system was designed and aplied in the Kuwait F1 stadium and the South Saad Al Abdullah Smart City.
